Sex: sexually motivated phenomena or behavior
Sexual: relating to the instincts, physiological processes, and activities connected with physical attraction or intimate physical contact between individuals.
Sexuality: The way a person goes about expressing themself as a sexual being through sexual expression in a life, how one chooses to express that sexuality, and any preference one may have towards the type of sexual partner they choose.
Sexuality involves many aspects of being human. The four major components of sexuality are:
- intimacy and relationships
- gender/sexual identity
- sexual health
Abstinence: the practice of abstaining from something : the practice of not doing or having something that is wanted or enjoyable.
Contraceptives: Birth control is the act of preventing pregnancy. Methods include medications, procedures, devices, and behaviors.
